Samudra Living
Samudra Living is an embodiment of contemporary sustainability. These ideas range from building with materials like bamboo and rammed earth to the use of energy, water and waste management systems.
The goal is not just to be low impact, but to regenerate the surrounding environment, to create beautiful, contemporary, sustainable homes which enrich the lives of their inhabitants and the surrounding environments.
The aim of this design is to blend the beauty and versatile of bamboo into a more user friendly design. By combining eastern and western sustainable building practices and concepts we have achieved a unique aesthetic blurring the lines of beauty and functionality.
Samudra Living
By using the sculptural beauty of bamboo and combining it with the straight lines and function of rammed earth we have combined the strengths of two worlds of architecture while eliminating the flaws. Generous windows allow light to fill the villa, air flows throughout the rooms. Open plan living invites all rooms to engage with the main architectural features of the rammed earth and bamboo, which rises from the earth embracing its inhabitants with the warmth and natural beauty it embodies.
